Winter in Yellowstone nuggets

In Yellowstone National Park, Winter
Having thought I would write an illustrated post about my recent winter visit, I did not realize how longggg my report was going to be—totally unsuitable for this blog. I chose the highlights, but even so it needed to be put on my website instead of here, so, if you reached this message by some means other than through my website and would like to see what winter brings to the park, please take a look at Nuggets 33 and 34, starting at: http://www.yellowstonetreasures.com/winter_in_yellowstone_pt1.htm.
It's not too late for visitors to book trips for winter, since snowcoaches, snowmobiles, and facilities will be operating for winter guests until March 4, 2012. After that the park takes a break for about six weeks, and things gradually reopen beginning in late April.
